PRIMITIVE NE is made up of songwriters and performers CLAIRE TAYLOR and JOHN FARMER. The pair collaborated for five years and wrote produced the album "music from the other side of the tracks" in 1998 whilst working the North East England music circuit with their band The Blues Corporation. Working on Analogue 8 Track; PNE produced an 'in-house' CD for which they seek distribution. Although mainly influenced by blues based music, PNE use this as a jumping off point rather than as a rigid constraint. Echoes from the past are mixed with modern influences, giving an eclectic mix of styles, which never forgets its roots. The constraints of the PRIMITIVE NE recording studio allow only a glimpse of what could be achieved in a properly funded project.
