Artist picture
Evan Paul is a very unique artist. His music is totally original, multi-genre, mostly acoustic, new age, easy listening, uplifting and spiritual.
I'm a Canadian songwriter musician and have recently released my first CD, "Spirits in the Sky". It's an instrumental, classical guitar album with sweeteners such as flute and strings. After decades of performing in various bands and as solo, I have finally settled on recording and writing, and only playing live ocasionally. Result, is a sweet, easy listening and spiritually uplifting work that defies any genre placement. It's pure acoustic and very melodic. Also, one will notice vocal songs and collaborations with various world artists. Presently, my latest CD "Eklektika" is active. It's one of the most original multi-genre instrumental album ever created. Unlike my previous, "Spirits in the Sky" collection, this one has percussion, a little more punch, but still retains that Evan Paul style of classical guitar playing. Enjoy!!!

Sweetie, this sounds more like 6/8 timing to me. When you count 123, 456 it works!! hehehe!! Love this song as well. Beautiful tune and wonderful guitar layouts as usual. The surprise piano in unision and electric guitar sounds in the background was so cool!! Then I heard more electric guitar and more great piano and strings. Wonderful arrangement and the title is perfect for this song. Also, fading away at the end was an added plus to this particular song. :)

This song is so original with great timing and superb guitar work. Has a melody that lingers in ones mind and I agree that this would make for a great movie track.

I love this unusual time piece Evan, and it's added to my "Evan's Gems" station. One of your best, and I'm hoping the album does well after all your hard work. Carol.

Nice classic Euro-feel, Evan, and of course that 6/8 against 4/4 time contrast you mentioned. Would be good on the soundtrack of a coming-of-age film. Good work!

Great mixture of instruments, Evan. I especially like that strong string bass sound so tight with the percussion. Really makes a solid foundation for the smooth guitar which has a beautiful lilt to it.
